YES – A REAL LIVE WORKSHOP!
“How to create a passive house and how to electrify your home and car”
Thanks so much to the lovely Mara from ORTO Straw Eco Farm (Village Dreaming) for organising this workshop at her beautiful property in Blampied (on the Ballarat-side of Daylesford) – it should be fun! Talina is looking forward to sharing her insights about sustainable/regenerative homes and presenting alongside Frank Forster who is a wealth of knowledge about going #allelectric . You’ll also be treated to some of Mara’s baking skills with afternoon tea provided in this 4hour workshop – yummo!!
Lovely words from our host, Mara at ORTO:
Join the highly sought after Certified Passivhaus Designer and Architect Talina Edwards at ORTO Farm!
Passivhaus is the German word for a home that is built tight with no leaky windows and doors, correctly applied insulation, a focus on quality instead of quantity, correct use of thermal mass, orientation and shading.
Talina is based in Ballarat and brings her extensive hands on experience, case studies and articulate communication skills to ORTO.
This session is for those who are retrofitting, building from scratch, or in a position to improve their rental property.
Talina will be joined by Frank Forster from EnviroShop Newstead.
EnviroShop Newstead are excellent at looking and analysing the “big picture” first, to see where solar, batteries, heat pumps, and electric vehicles can fit in.
Their passion is energy efficiency and renewable energy.
